Hot tapping is the method of making a connection to live pipeline while under pressure with no shutdown required and no interruption to supply.

Line stopping or line plugging is a means of isolating a piping system to provide a shut off where none exists. This process serves as a control, or temporary valve, that can be removed after alterations or valve replacements have been made while the pipeline is still under pressure and the temporary bypass is in place.

Cold Cutting

Cold cutting is used to cut and/or bevel (prep) pipe work without generating spark, flame or excessive heat. The fact that the procedure generates no flame and/or spark to complete the cut and weld preparation makes it the safest and most cost effective way for abandonment, additions and replacement of pipe work.
